INTRODUCTION
“Having been a voracious reader from a tender age, I have seen the power that words have to change a person, a nation and the world. The bible, the Qur’an and other books have changed peoples’ perception of the universe, morality, good and evil, sometimes for good, sometimes for evil, but the undeniable fact is the words in those text contains power”.
It is not only in religious text that words hold power. You can recall for yourself the number of times you have been moved to tears by the quality of writing, the sentiments being expressed. Words are powerful and when well chosen have so great a force in them that the description often gives us more lively ideas than the sight of things themselves.

The rhymesonny.com is a project that entails the combination of words particularly rhymes (a repetition of identical or similar terminal sound in two or more different words) to reach, teach and preach to this generation about life in the aspect of arts, morality, political, religion, societal issues, sports et al
I always ask this question: how much difference and impact can words stop indiscipline, poverty, corruption, HIV-AIDS, war etc. my conviction has always been yes: and so the beginning of this project. The project is in three parts namely, my word, my voice and my vision. There is linkage between these three parts

MY WORD
This project is a “bomb” which contains feelings, expressions, thoughts and ideas, language and action and so when it explodes will have a positive effect on each and everyone who comes in contact with the fumes.
MY WORD
My word, the very first part of the project which is in a form of a book contains creative writings (porhymes i.e., combination of poems and rhymes) which will inform, educate and entertain readers about life and its related vices. It also contains pieces of advice and measures to curb if not phase-out completely these vices. It is in four sections:
My faith: which talks about God, his Love, a prayer and a testimony of mine
Societal issues: including topics like The plight of the orphan, Hear my cry, A True story about AIDS, Drug abuse and some rhyming rules for drivers(Taxi driver)
This life: contains inspirational “porhymes” like Civilization, A new day, and Campus life
Rhymicomedy: this aspect of my word contains satiric works
My word also contains the award winning poem “Love”, the first ever poetical biography of the late “Osagyefo” Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and My life as a student.
My word will also be in a form of leaflets and flyers and other readable materials,
MY VOICE
Voice is the outer expression of our inner self. Voice reflects what is unique about us, the way we think and feel. It is an expression of how we view reality and make meaning from our experience.
My voice is link directly to my word; it is the audio version of my word. In my voice, poems like the Poetical biography of ”Osagyefo” Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, The plight of the orphan, My testimony, True story, Drug abuse, taxi driver, love et al. will be voiced in a studio and the end product will be a magnificent piece of art.
It includes hit stories like The Tribute to Danny Whyte, Mothers, ARISE Africa ft Marcus Garvey and Mensa Otabil, Piracy and Payola (policy of gift).
The end product of my voice will be in a form of audio tapes and audio CDs.
My voice is projected to give the visual impaired and those who can’t read, a feel of my word
MY VISION
My vision is the most important part of rhymesonny.com, it contains motion and still pictures which is set to appeal to the understanding of viewers. This aspect seeks to basically educate the very chunk of the populace who has very little or no educational background, in effect my vision is meant for all classes of society
Television not only provides many types of programmes with interesting and broad content, but also serves to fulfil our needs in terms of entertainment and knowledge. It is an integral and vital medium today, which is contributing positively to the education of society.
As TV is a medium that combines moving, colour images and sound, it resembles real life, so the viewers can identify with what they see
Television is one of the medium to be employed for the promotion of my vision.
My vision will take the form of documentaries, drama, live performances and poetical videos. The tracks in my voice will be accompanied by motion and still pictures to become videos and documentaries, some of them will be showcased in a drama and other stage performances
My vision will be presented to the target groups on VCDs, DVDs and Live Shows.
OBJECTIVES
The objectives of my poetry are in two-fold. One is to encode a message to allow its oral transmission to other groups, and indeed to other generations with a minimum of erosion of content or meaning.
The poetic form within itself contains codes to assist in memorization and enhancement of accurate transmission to the listener.
The second objective is related to the message itself: to convey emotions, insights, and so forth that the reader may find useful in their personal development, or allows them to reinterpret the text in the light of their own experience.
This last is important in our continuing to find poetry stimulating after many years, or even centuries, when every aspect of the world that provided the context for the poet has changed or disappeared. It's also important in allowing the reader to find poetry accessible in translation.
The main objectives of this project (rhymesonny.com) are:
- This thoughtful and credible piece of work has the very vital purpose of causing a very in-depth behavioral change in the life style of the youth and Ghanaians as a whole , since most of the topical issues are directly related to the wrongs of society
- To serve as an agent of public sensitization. It would be a medium that would be employed to appraise the general public on socio-political, cultural and educational issues
- To make society gain the understanding and appreciation of poetry
- This project could also serve as reference and study guide for teachers and students who are deeply rooted in the poetical aspects of literature and arts. Most teachers and students will find this piece of work educative and fascinating
- To entertain target groups with good porhymes, satire and rhymicomedy
· - To raise funds to support various orphanage homes and also to support campaign against some social vices e.g. HIV-AIDS campaigns, Indiscipline etc.
- · To reach, teach and preach to everyone about the need to volunteer oneself for your country and to empower, inspire the youth for the future
- To bring together poets, comedians, satires, rappers etc. form a poetry club.
